An prospect is available to join its well established team in Redfern as a Corporate Loan Operations Associate. This is a 12-month temporary contract with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance
Your new role
You will manage your own portfolio of syndicated corporate loan facilities where the bank acts as the facility agent. You will coordinate the administration, communication and movement of funds between borrowers and participating lenders. This is a high-volume loan operations role involving regular contact with lenders, front office teams, internal stakeholders, clients and other financial institutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of agency transactions and supporting the administration of corporate lending facilities
- Reviewing loan structures, facility agreements and lending documentation
- Processing banking payments and transaction requirements accurately and within required timeframes
- Liaising with lenders, front office teams, internal stakeholders, clients and other bank
- Monitoring emails and transaction activity to ensure deadlines and service standards are met
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods, rather than focusing only on your own portfolio
- Managing competing priorities and a high volume of work in a manual processing environment
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with previous loan administration experience within a banking environment. Experience in corporate lending is preferred but not essential. You will also bring:
- Either exposure to syndicated lending facilities, banking payments or lending operations
- The ability to understand and analyse loan structures and lending documentation
- Loan IQ experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisation and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
- The ability to work independently, learn quickly and stay on top of manual processes
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to support others
- A positive, can-do attitude and genuine interest in learning

- $38.89 per hour plus super
- A supportive and experienced Corporate lending team
- Working hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Full-time office-based training for the first three months, followed by a 50% office and 50% work-from-home arrangement
- December is a peak transaction period, so the team requires full support throughout the month and leave is generally not approved during this time. There is no shutdown period and no requirement to work public holidays.
