About the Role
As our experienced Gold Room Technician you will operate the gold room and elution circuit in accordance with our standard operating procedures.
This is a permanent, full time opportunity located at our Kal East Project on a 8:6 roster ex Perth.
Key responsibilities:
·Ensure appropriate safety procedures, assessments, work instructions and permits are adhered to prior to undertaking work to ensure tasks are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
·Monitor, control and carry out gravity gold recovery, carbon movement, elution, electrowinning and smelting activities.
·Complete Gold Room log sheets (gravity and elution circuits, smelting) during each shift ensuring they have been completed appropriately and accurately, and operating Key Performance Indicators (“KPI’s”) are being met.
·Conduct regular reviews of gold room, stripping circuit and gravity circuit performance against planned targets and investigate and report on variations.
·Carry out routine performance monitoring duties such as sampling, sample analysis and equipment inspections ensuring all plant, machinery and equipment is well maintained and operating to optimal conditions.
·Conduct clean-up duties as required to ensure gold room equipment is functioning properly and safely.
·Ensure system and process is in place to accurately report bullion shipments.
·Maintain gold room and gold movement security at a high standard at all times.
·Assist with the day to day operation and inspection of the tailings storage facility, ensuring they are managed in accordance with statutory and company standards.
About You
·Experience and competency with gravity gold recovery, elution, and gold room operating functions in the mining industry, preferably gold.
·Experience and competency in all stages of the process plant circuit.
·Have or willing to obtain licenses such as confined space, gas testing, working at heights and elevated work platform.
·Knowledge of isolations and isolation identification.
·WA Drivers License
