About the role

Dental on Crouch is seeking both a full-time and part time Dental Nurse, on-site position based in Mount Gambier, SA. The role involves supporting dentists and oral health professionals during clinical procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilised, and ready for use. Daily tasks include assisting with chairside procedures, managing patient records, coordinating appointments, and providing patients with pre- and post-treatment information. The Dental Nurse will monitor stock levels of dental materials, adhere to infection control protocols, and contribute to a safe, respectful environment for patients and colleagues. The role also includes participation in team meetings, quality improvement activities, and ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities

- Support dentists and oral health professionals during clinical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilised, and ready for use

About you

- Skills and experience in Dentistry and Dental Care,



including assisting with examinations, routine treatments, and patient education
- Skills in Infection Control and Decontamination, with a strong understanding of sterilisation processes, clinical hygiene, and relevant standards or guidelines
- Relevant qualification in dental assisting or dental nursing (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent) and registration or compliance with local regulatory requirements, where applicable
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, and a patient-centred approach to care
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment
- Commitment to continuing professional development and adherence to workplace health and safety practices
