Your new role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Worker to join a professional team servicing a range of clients across the Southeast Queensland region. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in presenting outdoor spaces to a high standard, and has experience in garden and landscape maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lawn mowing, edging, whipper snipping, and general turf maintenance
- Garden bed maintenance, including weeding, mulching, planting, and watering
- Following daily schedules across multiple locations
- Hedge trimming, pruning, and shaping of shrubs and plants
- Safe operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment and hand tools
- Removal of green waste and site clean-up following maintenance activities
- Application of basic fertiliser and pest control treatments as required
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members
- Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Reporting equipment faults, hazards, or site maintenance issues promptly

What you'll need to succeed

- Current manual driver's licence and access to reliable transport
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening,



or turf management
- Physically fit with the ability to undertake manual outdoor work across a variety of weather conditions
- Demonstrated experience operating landscaping equipment, including mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, and other powered garden tools
- Experience operating Walker Mowers, Cylinder Mowers, or similar commercial mowing equipment will be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering work to a consistently high standard
- Reliable and dependable, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute effectively within a team environment
- Willingness and ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with a proactive approach to safe work practices and procedures
