Huglo Solar is looking for an experienced electrician to step into an Electrical Service & Maintenance Coordinator role.
This position is ideal for someone looking to begin moving off the tools, while still remaining technically involved. The role will be split between field-based technical support and office-based coordination, training and development.
Key responsibilities
- Attend site to diagnose and resolve technical faults
- Support electricians and apprentices with complex issues
- Coordinate service and maintenance activities
- Develop technical training materials and procedures
- Deliver training to field staff
- Review recurring faults and improve installation standards
- Assist with commissioning, warranty and manufacturer support
- Provide office-based technical support to the wider team
About you
- Current unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with Solar PV systems
- Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Good understanding of switchboards and general electrical installations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to train, mentor and support electricians and apprentices
- Comfortable working both in the field and in an office-based technical role
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues
- Solid computer skills and ability to produce training documents, procedures and technical reports
