What you'll be doing?

- Overseeing daily operations: Take charge of the day-to-day running of Woolstore, ensuring the venue operates smoothly and efficiently at every turn.
- Leading and inspiring the team: Motivate and develop a dedicated hospitality team to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Driving staff development: Manage training, performance, and ongoing development to help the team grow and thrive.
- Upholding high standards: Maintain excellence across service, presentation,



and guest satisfaction at every service.
- Supporting events and functions: Collaborate closely with the Events Manager to plan and deliver memorable functions and events.
- Coordinating rosters and staffing: Assist with rostering, staffing needs, and day-to-day team coordination to keep operations running seamlessly.
- Managing stock and controls: Monitor stock levels, cash handling, and operational controls to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Contributing to commercial performance: Support cost control, financial targets, and opportunities to improve venue performance.
- Ensuring compliance: Uphold company policies along with liquor licensing, food safety, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Fostering a positive culture: Build a safe, collaborative, and welcoming workplace culture for the whole team.

Who are they looking for?

- Hospitality leadership experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality leadership role is required for this position.
- Operational systems know-how: Experience with rostering, stock control, and POS systems will help ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- RSA certification: Holding a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is essential for this role.
- Team leadership skills: A proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team will be highly valued in this collaborative environment.




- Communication and problem-solving: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills will support success in a busy, guest-focused setting.
- Passion for hospitality: A genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences will shine through in this role.
- Composure under pressure: The ability to stay calm, organised, and effective in a fast-paced workplace is key to thriving in this position.
- Commercial mindset: A proactive, commercially minded approach with the confidence to take ownership will be well suited to this opportunity.
