Clever Cubs Early Learning Centre is seeking a Centre Director to join their team!

This is a rare opportunity to lead a brand-new, purpose-built 90-place early learning centre from the ground up, taking full ownership of its performance, culture, and quality of care through pre-opening and launch. As Nominated Supervisor, the successful candidate will shape a high-performing team, build a positive culture from day one, and bring the award-winning Clever Cubs philosophy to the Casula community, all while working closely with engaged owners and an Operations Manager committed to their success.

What you'll be doing?

- Establishing the centre: Partner closely with the owners and Operations Manager to set up and launch the new centre in Casula, playing a pivotal role during the exciting pre-opening period.
- Leading the team: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing early childhood team, helping every educator grow and thrive in their role.
- Building a positive culture: Create a workplace built around fun, integrity, and continuous improvement, where staff feel supported and valued.
- Delivering quality care: Ensure children receive high-quality education and care in an inspiring and nurturing environment.
- Maintaining compliance: Uphold strong compliance with the National Quality Framework, keeping the centre's standards consistently high.
- Driving continuous improvement: Lead the Quality Improvement Plan and support best-practice educational approaches across the centre.
- Managing operations:



Oversee staffing, occupancy, budgets, and day-to-day operations to keep the centre running smoothly and successfully.

Who are they looking for?

- Relevant qualification: A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA equivalent, is essential for this role.
- Proven leadership experience: Demonstrated experience as a Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor is required, ideally within a medium-to-large early learning service.
- Team leadership skills: A strong track record of recruiting, leading, developing, and retaining early childhood teams.
- Compliance knowledge: A solid understanding of the National Quality Framework, NQS, and EYLF, with confidence navigating operational and compliance requirements.
- Certifications: A current Working with Children Check, along with current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Leadership style: A solutions-focused approach to leadership, with a genuine commitment to high-quality care and solid communication with families and staff.
