The job
You'll keep underground machinery running safely and reliably:
- Diagnose and fix electrical faults on Sandvik, CAT, Volvo and Toyota mining machinery
- Respond to breakdowns and get equipment back up and running
- Carry out inspections and upgrade electrical systems to OEM specifications
- Document your work, including clear handovers and parts lists
- Keep safety and quality standards high
What you need
The essentials:
- Australian recognised Auto Electrician trade qualification
- Previous underground mobile mining experience
- Current manual driver's licence and the ability to operate underground vehicles with relevant RPLs
- Full Australian working rights
- Based in WA and available for FIFO
- Ability to follow procedures and safety standards
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions
- A team-oriented, safety-first attitude
- RCT remote experience is highly regarded.
