About the role

As the Data Product Delivery Manager, you will lead and enhance the delivery of our data analytics products and solutions across the Agency. You will manage the building of our business intelligence capabilities including self-service and support delivery of data science and geospatial projects in line with our Data Strategy 2026-29. You will work across business areas, helping teams prioritise data analytics and reporting to support their work, maintain momentum and deliver a broad range of data initiatives.

Across the project and product lifecycle, you will lead scoping and planning of data analytics products and solutions, manage a product portfolio, facilitate seamless end-to-end delivery of data analytics projects, and empower delivery teams to build and release high-value, data-driven solutions in line with approved data project priorities and initiatives.

This role will:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of data analytics products and solutions, ensuring quality outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business priorities.
- Establish and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across product, project, data, analytics, governance, technology and business areas.
- Partner with data platform, geospatial, data governance, digital and technology services, and finance teams to support program planning and delivery, resourcing and effective decision making.
- Lead scoping, planning, prioritisation, capacity management and budgeting across concurrent data products, projects and initiatives,



including requirements, backlogs and delivery timeframes.
- Engage senior leaders, stakeholders and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable analytics products and manage priorities based on value and impact.
- Track delivery health, project performance and product impact through explicit reporting, governance updates and timely stakeholder communication.
- Provide agile delivery leadership by facilitating key ceremonies, resolving impediments, improving delivery practices and supporting predictable sprint and release outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative, data-led culture through supervision/coaching, dependency management, lean delivery practices, clear documentation and appropriate data governance and management controls.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Product Delivery Manager who has:

- Data and analytics product delivery: Minimum of 5 years' experience leading end-to-end delivery of data, analytics or business intelligence products that deliver business value.
- Product strategy and roadmaps: Proven ability to set project and product direction, manage a portfolio of concurrent initiatives, prioritise based on value and impact, and translate strategy into practical, outcome-focused roadmaps.




- Agile and delivery leadership: Proven skills in balancing iterative Agile delivery with fixed portfolio milestones, financial budgets, and traditional organisational reporting; and strong practical experience using agile, Scrum, Kanban or lean delivery approaches to manage requirements, backlogs, capacity, dependencies, sprint planning and release outcomes.
- Stakeholder engagement and influence: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work with senior leaders, business areas and technical teams to gather requirements and translate needs into scalable data analytics products/solutions.
- Governance, reporting and decision support: Ability to track delivery health, manage risks and priorities, provide clear governance updates, and support timely, evidence-based decision making.
- Cross-functional team leadership: Experience establishing, coordinating, coaching and supporting multidisciplinary teams across product, project, data, analytics, governance, technology and business areas.
- Data-driven mindset: Strong understanding of how data and analytics can improve reporting, uncover trends, support proactive decision-making and deliver measurable organisational outcomes.
- Relevant technical exposure: Exposure to business intelligence, data platforms, data science and advanced analytics such as machine learning, automation, AI or geospatial analytics would be highly regarded. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Power BI and Fabric is also highly desirable.
