GetCareers is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice to join an established and reputable company specialising in construction carpentry in Perth.

This is a great opportunity to further develop your hands-on carpentry skills, gain valuable experience across a range of construction projects, and work towards completing your Certificate III in Carpentry while being paid to learn and develop your trade on the job.

GetCareers is currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join an established and reputable company as a 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice, specialising in construction carpentry.

This opportunity is well suited to a motivated and committed apprentice looking to further develop their skills and experience within the construction industry, while continuing to earn while you learn and work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Carpentry.

As part of the role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience across a range of construction carpentry projects, developing your practical skills, knowledge and confidence while working alongside experienced tradespeople and building a strong foundation for a rewarding career in the carpentry industry.

Employment Details

Location: Balcatta, WA
Employment Type: Full time (5 days per week, 38 hours standard)
Apprenticeship Year: 2nd or 3rd Year
Qualification: Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)

What You'll Learn

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will continue developing your skills and knowledge in:

- Construction carpentry and building projects
- Framing and structural timber work
- Installation of doors, windows and other building components
- Measuring, cutting and assembling materials accurately
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Reading plans and following technical instructions
- Workplace health and safety
- Working effectively within a construction team
- Maintaining a clean,



organised and safe worksite

What We’re Looking For

- Currently completing a 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprenticeship
- Previous experience in construction carpentry
- Physically capable of performing practical, hands-on work
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic
- Able to follow instructions, take direction and work effectively as part of a team
- Safety-conscious and committed to safe work practices
- Reliable, punctual and committed to developing your skills
- Well presented and professional
- Motivated to build a long-term career in carpentry and construction
- Able to work independently when required

Eligibility Criteria

- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Currently be a 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice
- Reside within the Perth Metropolitan Area due to the location of the role
- Hold a valid Driver’s Licence and have reliable transport
- Hold a valid Construction White Card
