The ASA EL1 Governance Manager positions are within the Stewardship Division and Engineering & Technology Division of the Australian Submarine Agency.

The Stewardship Division Program Management Office (PMO) provides Program oversight of, and support to projects within Stewardship Division. The EL 1 Governance Manager will exercise a considerable degree of independence and lead the Governance stream within the PMO.

The Engineering & Technology Division team is responsible for Division governance, Division operations, executive support,



and supporting Division improvement initiatives. This includes direct support to emerging Division priorities and coordination of these priorities across the Division and wider Agency stakeholders.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing clear, concise and influential briefs, committee papers, governance artefacts and strategic advice for senior executives and decision-makers.
- A strong commitment to continuous improvement and governance excellence, with the ability to analyse information, challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and implement initiatives that strengthen governance frameworks, processes and organisational capability
