Midland Tractors’ is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics / Auto Electricians to join our Longford Team. This full-time role will see you using your expertise to maintain and repair a range of agricultural equipment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and other vehicle components
- Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance on a variety of agricultural equipment
- Perform electrical repairs and modifications to equipment wiring systems and accessories
- Use diagnostic equipment and apply technical knowledge to identify and resolve problems
- Maintain detailed records or work completed and parts used
- Provide exceptional customer service and advice to customers
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant Australian recognised trade certificate
- Hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician
- Solid diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to safety
- A valid drivers licence
