We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse with acute and emergency nursing experience to join our team in a permanent part-time position (0.6 EFT) across the Daylesford Acute Ward and Urgent Care Centre.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, person-centred care to patients within our Acute Ward and Urgent Care Centre. Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals, you will contribute to positive patient outcomes and help maintain our commitment to excellence in rural healthcare.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
- Responding to urgent and emergency presentations within the Urgent Care Centre.
- Supporting patients and families through effective communication and education.
- Participating in quality improvement, accreditation and clinical governance activities.
- Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting less experienced staff and students.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in acute nursing, emergency nursing,
or a combination of both.
- Excellent assessment, clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient-centred care, safety and continuous improvement.
- Current ALS certification.
- Understanding of rural health service delivery is advantageous.
