About the role

Billy Chow is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic hospitality team in Coolangatta, QLD. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing an excellent opportunity to develop your supervisory skills in a quick-paced restaurant environment. As Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service standards, managing front-of-house operations, and supporting both our guests and team members to deliver memorable dining experiences. Your leadership and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards that define Billy Chow.

Key responsibilities

- Supervising and coordinating waiting staff to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards

- Managing the front-of-house operations, including table management, reservation systems, and customer flow

- Greeting guests, seating customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout their dining experience

- Taking food and beverage orders, and communicating them accurately to the kitchen team

- Monitoring service quality and addressing any guest concerns promptly and professionally

- Training and coaching team members on service protocols, menu knowledge, and customer service excellence

- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas

- Assisting with inventory management and restocking of service supplies

- Supporting the management team with administrative tasks and reporting on operational performance

- Handling cash and card transactions with accuracy and integrity

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a waiting or hospitality service role, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of leading and motivating team members





- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and best practices in the hospitality industry

- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment

- A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

- Flexibility to work casual hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain relevant qualifications

- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating welcoming dining environments
