End-to-End Recruitment | HR Administration | Growing Local Business

JRT Group is looking for an experienced, organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our team in Yeppoon.

With continued growth across our civil construction operations, recruitment will be a major focus of this role. We are looking for someone who enjoys finding the right people, can confidently manage the recruitment process from start to finish, and has the organisation and attention to detail needed to keep a busy HR function moving.

This is a hands-on role supporting a diverse operational workforce and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting where priorities can change quickly.

About the Role

Working closely with the HR Manager and operational management team, you will play a key role in attracting, recruiting and onboarding employees across a range of civil construction, trades, plant operator, transport, supervisory and professional roles.

You will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, while also providing day-to-day HR administration support across the full employee lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles and projects

- Preparing and posting job advertisements across SEEK and other recruitment platforms

- Reviewing applications and shortlisting suitable candidates

- Conducting initial phone screens and coordinating interviews

- Completing reference checks and pre-employment requirements

- Maintaining regular communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process

- Preparing employment contracts, letters of offer and employment documentation

- Coordinating onboarding and ensuring new employees are ready to commence





- Maintaining recruitment pipelines and proactively sourcing candidates for current and upcoming workforce requirements

- Supporting workforce planning with managers and supervisors

- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems

- Coordinating employee onboarding, variations and offboarding

- Tracking licences, competencies, qualifications and training requirements

- Assisting with inductions, training and workforce development

- Preparing HR letters, reports and general correspondence

- Supporting employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations as required

- Assisting with the interpretation and application of modern awards, employment conditions and company policies

- Supporting payroll and timekeeping processes

- Assisting with HR compliance and audits

- Contributing to HR system improvements and more efficient processes

- Providing general HR and administrative support as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, switched on and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in Recruitment and/or HR administration

- Demonstrated experience managing or assisting with end-to-end recruitment

- Strong candidate screening and interviewing skills

- Confidence communicating with candidates, employees, supervisors and managers

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills

- Exceptional attention to detail





- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines

- A proactive approach and the ability to follow tasks through to completion

- A professional manner and a strong understanding of confidentiality

- Strong written communication skills

- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook

- Experience using HR, recruitment or payroll systems

- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and modern awards would be highly regarded

- Experience within civil construction, mining, trades, labour hire or another operational environment would be advantageous

Experience with MYOB Advanced would also be highly regarded.
