You’ll manage incidents and technical enquiries, troubleshoot application issues and work with internal teams and external vendors to maintain dependable technology services.

What you’ll do
- Monitor, prioritise and resolve application incidents and service requests
- Troubleshoot technical alerts and escalate complex issues when required
- Maintain the availability and performance of supported applications and services
- Communicate timely updates to users regarding requests and incidents
- Work with vendors to implement and support reliable software solutions
- Install, configure,
monitor and administer application servers
- Maintain technical documentation and application support procedures
- Develop scripts to automate repeatable tasks and improve efficiency
- Support technology projects, implementations and deployments
- Assist with planned releases, patches, fixes and updates
- Participate in emergency support and disaster recovery activities when required
What you’ll bring Essential
- At least four years of professional IT industry experience
- Experience supporting business-critical applications and systems
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet agreed deadlines
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux or Unix administration
- A collaborative and service-focused approach
Nice to have
- Experience within banking or financial services
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline
- ITIL certification
- Experience with Jira, Confluence or Bitbucket
- SharePoint administration or development experience
- System Centre Service Manager administration experience
- Experience supporting core banking systems
