Toogoom Pharmacy is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dispesary Assistnat/Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
We are a busy community pharmacy located in the heart of the Toogoom community, committed to providing outstanding customer service and qualified healthcare advice to our patients.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including:
- Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and general enquiries
- Serving customers at the register
- Stock replenishment and merchandising
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Maintaining a clean and organised pharmacy environment
- Supporting our pharmacists and dispensary team with day-to-day operations
As a Dispensary Assistant, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including:
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and processing of prescriptions
- Manage dispensary stock, including ordering, unpacking and stock rotation
- Maintain an organised and efficient dispensary
- Assist with prescription filing and administrative tasks
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Support the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team with day-to-day operations
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Enjoys helping people and delivering excellent customer service
- Is reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Works well as part of a team
- Has good communication skills
- Is willing to learn and take initiative
Previous pharmacy or retail experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right applicant.
