We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to join our management team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. To be successful, you must have hands-on, recent experience utilising Pronto Xi ERP to extract, analyse, and manage financial data.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Submitting and liaising with BMP Europe on Monthly account positions.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet accounts, and fixed assets.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist with tax compliance, including BAS/GST reporting and fringe benefits tax.
- Identify and implement commercial process improvements.
About you
- Financial Accounting Qualification (completed or currently completing).
- Minimum 4-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing accounting role.
- Proven,
hands-on experience using Pronto Xi software is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different departments.
- Permanent resident status or Australian Citizenship required.
