REGISTERED or ENROLLED Nurse – Community Nursing (Part-time / Casual)

Nightingale Nurses at Home is a growing community healthcare provider supporting clients across Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches. We provide personalised nursing care in the place our clients feel most comfortable — their own home.
We are passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing. Our multidisciplinary team includes Assistant Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses, working together to provide care that is tailored to each client's individual needs.
We are looking for a compassionate, confident and motivated Registered Nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and their families and is passionate about delivering excellent care in the community.
About the Role
As a Community Nurse with Nightingale Nurses at Home, you will have the opportunity to provide a diverse range of clinical and supportive nursing services to clients in their homes.
Guided by our LAMP values — Leadership, Accountability, Mindfulness and Professionalism, you will be supported to develop your skills and confidently provide care according to each client's changing needs.
Clinical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Medication management and administration
- Central line management, including PICC and CVC care
- Wound assessment and management
- PEG feeding and management
- Urinary catheter care
- Diabetes and insulin management
- Palliative care and symptom management
- Clinical assessment, monitoring and escalation of changes in a client's condition
- Health and wellness assessments
- Collaboration with clients, families, GPs, specialists and other healthcare professionals
You don't need to be an expert in every area. We value the right attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to providing safe, person-centred care. If you have strong nursing fundamentals and are keen to expand your community nursing skills, we would love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as Enrolled or Registered Nurse
- At least one year FTE experience working as an EN/ RN
- A National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one prior to employment
- A working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one prior to employment
- A valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current BLS and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain one prior to employment
- Current vaccination including COVID-19 and influenza
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Community Nursing
- Aged Care
- Surgical Nursing
- Rehabilitation
- Palliative Care
