M Tech Suspension is seeking a competent and experienced General Motor Mechanic to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working as part of a busy team. The successful applicant will have strong mechanical knowledge, good diagnostic skills and the ability to carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance across a range of vehicles.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance across a range of vehicles
- Perform general vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Conduct mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
- Perform brake repairs and maintenance
- Carry out suspension and steering repairs
- Perform engine and transmission repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections and mechanical diagnostics
- Perform tyre and wheel alignment work
- Work on a range of makes and models
- Work unsupervised and as part of a team
About you
- Trade Certificate – Motor Mechanic (Required)
- Qualified Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician
- Good diagnostic and scan tool skills
- Tyre and wheel alignment knowledge
- Ability to work on a range of makes and models
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Solid attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
