About the Role
Due to an expansion in our operations, we are currently seeking a Recruitment Officer on a full-time permanent basis. You will help coordinate recruitment across the business, with a strong focus on operational and driver recruitment. Working closely with hiring managers across the business, you'll source quality talent, manage recruitment campaigns, coordinate interviews and pre-employment checks, and ensure every candidate receives a professional and positive experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for approved vacancies across multiple business areas
- Prepare engaging job advertisements and manage vacancy postings across multiple recruitment platforms
- Screen applications and conduct phone interviews to assess suitability
- Coordinate and attend interviews with hiring managers
- Conduct reference checks, compliance documents and other pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate employment offers and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide reporting on recruitment activity and key metrics.
- Ensure recruitment practices remain compliant, inclusive and aligned with organisational policies and legislation.
About You
You are an organised and motivated recruitment professional who takes ownerships of vacancies and keeps recruitment moving. You are comfortable picking up the phone,
speaking with drivers and candidates, following up with managers and actively sourcing people.
Just as importantly, you’ll will understand the importance of candidate experience and representing Goldstar professionally in a competitive transport labour market.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Previous recruitment experience within the transport industry is essential
- Demonstrated experience recruiting HC/MC Drivers or other high-volume operational roles
- Strong understanding of drivers’ licenses, qualifications and pre-employment processes
- Proven experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process
- Previous experience recruiting within the transport & logistics industry will be highly regarded
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to maintain confidentiality
