Contracts Administrator | Commercial Fit-Out and Refurbishment

We are currently representing a National Tier 1 commercial builder in Sydney, they're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Contract Administrator to join their hard-working team on projects typically between $5M - $40M. Sites in Sydney metro area.

As a key member of the team, you'll find yourself immersed in a supportive and collaborative work environment, with a PM and site teams necessary for the projects. Our client prides itself on their reputation for quality delivery, they have built a reputation as a reliable Head Contractor in the $5M - $40M space, across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage subcontract procurement, tendering and contract administration across multiple commercial projects
- Assess progress claims, manage variations and administer subcontract payments
- Prepare trade packages, scopes of work and negotiate subcontract agreements
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Ensure contractual compliance while identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle




- Assist Project Managers with commercial programming and project delivery
- Monitor project budgets, forecasting and monthly cost reporting

About You

- Demonstrated experience delivering commercial fit out, refurbishment and/or Design & Construct projects
- Minimum 3 years' Contracts Administration experience within the Australian commercial construction industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement, cost control, subcontract management and contract administration
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Procore, Buildsoft, Cheops, Jobpac or similar
- Experience delivering live setting projects
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (desired)
