Red Rooster Castle Plaza is a busy counter-service restaurant in Edwardstown, serving roast chicken, burgers, chips and salads to the local community seven days a week, with extended trading hours. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Rapid Food Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee day-to-day operations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fast Food Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy Red Rooster store at Castle Plaza. This role offers a salary of $82,000 plus superannuation. You will lead our team, manage stock, budgets and food quality, and handle in-store, collection and delivery orders while upholding Red Rooster brand standards. This hands-on leadership role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in great customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Determine daily product mix and production levels for roast chicken, burgers, chips and salads based on sales trends and peak periods
- Maintain Red Rooster food quality, presentation and customer service standards
- Manage purchasing and ordering of food stock, packaging and supplies from approved suppliers
- Implement local marketing, in-store specials and meal deal promotions within franchise guidelines
- Promote the store through in-store promotions, Castle Plaza centre marketing and delivery platform offers
- Lead front-counter service, advise customers on menu items, meal deals and allergens, and resolve complaints
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, wastage and financial transactions, including daily cash reconciliations
- Prepare and manage the store budget, monitoring sales, labour costs and food costs against targets
- Recruit, select,



train, roster and supervise kitchen crew, front-counter staff and shift leaders
- Coordinate collection and delivery orders through the Red Rooster app and third-party delivery platforms
- Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety and hygiene regulations, including safe use of rotisserie ovens and fryers
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling and security for late-night trading

Skills and Experience Required

- Diploma in Hospitality Management or higher is essential
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a fast food, restaurant or café management role is essential
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong understanding of budgeting, stock control and cost management
- Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A calm, professional attitude in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays
