We partner with community service organisations to provide skilled staff to disability and Out-of-Home Care services, helping young people stay safe, supported, and connected.

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality and Compliance Officer to join the Quality Team with our partner organisation, Interactive Community Care (ICCare). You will be employed by Lumiere Foundation and work onsite with ICCare's based at our Sydney office in Seven Hills, NSW.

In this role, you will utilise the NDIS Practice Standards and the OOHC Code of Practice to play a key role in maintaining the welfare, wellbeing and safety of the people we support and the organisation’s accreditation for the future.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the organisation is quality and compliance focussed and support the culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive compliance activities across the organisation.
- Participate in the internal auditing activities of the organisation, as outlined in the Internal Audit Schedule.
- Maintain a range of key compliance registers and documentation.
- Take on and lead projects as assigned by the Quality, Compliance and Safeguarding Manager.
- Collate data and analyse trends across the organisation.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend strategic solutions for complex matters.
- Complete risk assessments and implement mitigation actions.
- Complete administrative tasks inline with agreed timeframes.

What You'll Bring

- Experience: Previous experience in an internal auditing, compliance, safeguarding, governance, project management, or related role, where you have demonstrated problem solving skills in complex situations.




- Highly regarded but not essential: Tertiary qualification in relevant industry field.
- Practice knowledge: Experience in NDIS and OOHC space is highly regarded.
- Communication Requirements: Demonstrated written documentation skills and English proficiency for skilled case notes, reports and verbal communication are essential.
- Interpersonal skills: Able to build rapport with a range of people, influence stakeholders, and work with multiple teams across the organisation.
- Teamwork & resilience: Confident working independently and within a fast-paced, dynamic team.

Essential Requirements:

- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
- National Crime Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Licensing & transport: Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
