About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable cleaner to prepare our holiday properties between guest stays.

Properties are currently located throughout Caloundra, Wurtulla, Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland. Most changeovers occur between guest check-out at 10:00 am and check-in at 2:00 pm, so punctuality and the ability to work efficiently within this timeframe are essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Completing detailed changeover cleans between guest stays
- Cleaning and presenting kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Making beds neatly and styling properties according to our presentation standards
- Replenishing guest amenities and consumables
- Checking appliances and ensuring the property is ready for arriving guests
- Identifying and promptly reporting damage, maintenance concerns or missing items
- Checking that previous guests have not left food or belongings behind
- Taking completion photos after every clean
- Managing clean and used linen at each property
- Keeping cleaning products and supplies organised
- Occasionally completing deep cleans and seasonal spring cleans
- Following individual property checklists and instructions





Hours and availability

This is a genuine casual position, with shifts offered according to guest bookings and operational requirements. Weekly hours will vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Most work takes place between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm across weekdays, weekends and public holidays. When rostered, shifts will generally be for a minimum of two consecutive hours and may include multiple properties.

Because holiday accommodation operates seven days a week, applicants must have a reasonable level of weekend availability. Flexibility during school holidays and peak periods will be highly regarded.

- Has professional cleaning experience, preferably in Airbnb, holiday accommodation or hotels
- Is exceptionally reliable and follows through on accepted shifts
- Understands the importance of completing properties before guest check-in
- Has excellent attention to detail and notices the small things others may miss
- Takes genuine pride in creating clean and beautifully presented spaces
- Can work efficiently without compromising quality
- Is trustworthy and respectful when working inside owners’ properties
- Can work independently and follow detailed checklists
- Communicates clearly and responds promptly to messages
- Is comfortable taking photos and reporting issues through a smartphone
- Is physically capable of cleaning, making beds and handling linen
- Is willing to learn the individual requirements of each property
- Is looking for an ongoing position with a growing local business

Essential requirements

- Previous professional cleaning experience




- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Availability between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm
- Some weekend and public holiday availability
- Full Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check
- Ability to provide two professional references
