Our parks are mixed use (tourism and permanent caravan parks) in addition to a motel and we are looking to constantly improve the presentation of our grounds and continue our ongoing maintenance tasks.
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our team at our busy caravan park. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, being outdoors, and keeping things running smoothly.
You’ll be joining an existing team of handypeople to help with the day-to-day upkeep of the park, including small building jobs, general maintenance, and keeping the grounds and park owned buildings tidy and presentable. Rosters will be determined as per the businesses needs and your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning vans/cabins/decks/concrete slabs
- General maintenance and basic repairs
- Emptying bins and managing waste areas
- Groundskeeping (mowing, whipper snipping, pruning, weeding)
- Assisting with small projects and odd jobs as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone reliable who shows up and gets the job done
- Practical, hands-on skills (tools, handy-person skills)
- High attention to detail, takes pride in their work
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in teams
Bonus (but not essential):
- Ride-on mower or small engine experience
- Trade background
- Manual drivers licence
- Pool care experience
