Black Raven Media is one of Brisbane’s leading activations and ambient media agencies, creating memorable campaigns that get brands noticed.

Based in Cannon Hill, Brisbane, we are a small, close-knit team working with major brands including Subway, Containers for Change, Flight Centre and the Queensland Government.

Our work spans experiential marketing, events, activations, media, digital campaigns and content creation. Because we are a small team, everyone gets hands-on experience across real campaigns rather than being limited to one narrow area.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised, self-motivated and creative Media & Activations Co-ordinator to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for a final-year student, recent graduate or someone early in their career who wants broad, hands-on experience across events, activations, advertising and digital media.

You will assist with planning and delivering campaigns from concept through to execution, working with our team, clients, suppliers, venues, media companies and event staff.

No two days are the same. One week you could be organising an activation for a major national brand, the next you could be creating content, preparing a client presentation or assisting with a Meta or Google campaign.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with planning and delivering brand activations and events from concept through to completion.

- Coordinate suppliers, event staff, venues, permits, logistics, timelines and budgets.

- Prepare documentation including permit applications,



risk assessments, staff briefs, supplier briefs, content briefs and post-event reports.

- Work across multiple client projects and ensure deadlines, budgets and campaign KPIs are met.

- Attend and help manage events around Australia, including occasional weekend and after-hours work.

- Capture photos and video content from activations and events for social media and campaign reporting.

- Assist with client presentations, proposals and campaign documentation.

- Assist with media bookings across digital, outdoor, television and radio.

- Assist with digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Meta and Google.

- Communicate with clients, suppliers, venues, promotional staff and other campaign stakeholders.

SELECTION CRITERIA

We are looking for someone who:

- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting the small things right.

- Is highly organised and comfortable managing several projects and deadlines at once.

- Has a genuine interest in events, activations, marketing and advertising.

- Is creative and has a positive eye for design, content and current trends.

- Has strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Is confident dealing with clients, suppliers and event staff.

- Is motivated, outgoing and keen to learn.

- Has some experience or exposure to marketing, media, events or promotional teams.

- Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, content creation or design programs would be highly regarded.

- Holds a provisional or open Australian driver’s licence.

Tertiary study in Business, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Creative Industries or a related area is highly regarded, but the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn are more important.

Pay: $53,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
