Raiden Technologies is a growing NSW-based electrical, security and renewable energy company delivering commercial and industrial solutions across NSW. Based in the Sutherland Shire, we specialise in security systems, CCTV, access control, telecommunications, data and communications, electrical services and renewable energy.
We work across a range of commercial, industrial, government, education and other large-scale projects. With a strong focus on quality, safety and technology, we are continuing to grow our team and are looking for a skilled Security & Telecommunications Technician to join the business and grow with us.
We are looking to immediately fill a permanent full time position of Security Technician.
About the role
Install, terminate and maintain telecommunications, fibre optic and structured cabling systems in accordance with project specifications and Australian Standards. Lead installation teams or work independently to deliver projects within required timeframes and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Install Radio Base Station (RBS) equipment, including Hybriflex cables, coaxial feeder cables and tails, earthing systems, cable trays, diplexers and combiners
- Install, terminate and commission DC power systems, including rectifiers, batteries and associated equipment
- Install, terminate and commission microwave indoor and outdoor units
- Perform testing and commissioning of telecommunications equipment and sites, including PIM, VSWR, sweep testing and call testing
- Diagnose faults, investigate site issues, replace defective equipment and carry out repairs to restore network performance
- Install, splice, terminate and test fibre optic cabling and associated infrastructure
- Install and terminate internal structured cabling for computer networks, telecommunications systems, security systems and fire alarm systems
- Install and maintain NBN and other telecommunications network cabling
- Complete site documentation, commissioning records and handover paperwork following installation and testing
- Ensure all work complies with telecommunications cabling rules, workplace health and safety requirements and Australian Standards
About you
- AQF Certificate III including at least 2 years on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill level 3) or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant experience in the role

Pay: $105,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
