You will play a pivotal role in providing compassionate and competent care to Arcare Residents while maintaining a supportive and positive work setting for the care team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for residents in the facility.

About the Role

The Clinical Lead is responsible for providing efficient and effective management of all resident care and wellbeing. The Clinical Lead ensures effective documentation of care and service, meeting legal requirements and maximizing financial outcomes

- Resident Care: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
- Staff Supervision: Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses,



caregivers and support staff.
- Care Planning: Overseeing the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
- Medication Management: Ensuring proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
- Family Communication: Communicating effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
- Crisis Management: Handling emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.

What we’re looking for

- Current AHPRA Registration (essential)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse.
- Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
- Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation.
- Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
