Job Responsibilities

As a K–10 English & Maths Tutor, you will:

- Tutor students from Kindergarten to Year 10 in English and Mathematics.
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum.
- Explain concepts clearly and effectively to support student understanding.
- Help students prepare for classwork, assessments, and examinations.
- Develop students' confidence, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Adapt lessons to students' learning needs and academic goals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate lesson records.
- Collaborate with team members to improve student outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience working with students from K–10 in both English and Maths
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)




- Available after school hours and on Saturdays

Preferred Skills

- Band 5 or 6 in Advanced/Standard English and Mathematics
- Prior tutoring experience (one-on-one or group)
- Adaptive teaching techniques and student-centred approach

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

Experience:

- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (Preferred)
- Driver Licence (Preferred)
