Leading Hand / Site Supervisor - Pallet Racking Installations

RAAM Storage is part of the Authorised SSI Schaefer Distributor Network. We specialise in supply, installation, maintenance and auditing of a wide range of storage systems.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of confirmed work, we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand / Site Supervisor to oversee installation projects and lead site teams.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong installation or trade background who takes pride in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead installation crews on pallet racking, longspan shelving and cantilever racking projects
- Interpret and execute work based on technical drawings and site specifications
- Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to ensure productive project delivery
- Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Liaise with the Project Manager and clients on site
- Remain hands-on and actively involved in installation activities
- Identify and resolve on-site issues in a timely and practical manner
- Maintain compliance with all safety requirements and company procedures

About You:

- Pallet racking installation experience is preferred; applicants with relevant trade experience are also encouraged to apply




- Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise site teams
- Confident working from drawings and managing site layouts
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Reliable, organised, and able to take ownership of projects
- Effective communication skills and a team-focused approach

On-site training in racking systems and installation procedures will be provided for the right candidate.

Licences & Tickets:

- Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence (Not essential)
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence (Not essential)
- White Card

Forklift and EWP training will be provided for the right candidate.

Desirable Experience:

- Strong knowledge of AS 4084
- Experience across multiple racking systems and brands
- Experience delivering large-scale warehouse or commercial fit-out projects
