Bondi Dental is seeking an experienced Oral Health Therapist who is dynamic, motivated and genuinely passionate about providing the highest standard of patient care to join our friendly and supportive team in beautiful Bondi Beach.
The Role
This is a temporary position from 18 January 2027 to 25 February 2027 working:
- Monday to Thursday
- 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Working alongside a supportive Principal Dentist and experienced dental team
- Working independently and confidently without a dental assistant
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive and restorative care, including:
- Comprehensive patient examinations
- Preventive and restorative procedures within scope (assistant available for restorative procedures)
- Scaling, root planning and selective polishing for designated patients
- Taking radiographs where clinically appropriate
- Topical fluoride applications
- Promoting comprehensive dentistry and active preventive maintenance
- Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records
- Following all infection control protocols and practice procedures
About You
We are looking for an Oral Health Therapist who:
- Holds a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy with Adult Scope
- Has current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
- Holds a current Radiation Licence
- Has a minimum of 3 years experience working clinically as an OHT
- Has a strong understanding of clinical dentistry and infection control
- Is confident working independently and managing their own patient appointments
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is empathetic, professional and genuinely patient-focused
- Is particularly comfortable working with children and their families
- Takes pride in delivering thorough, high-quality clinical care
- Is organised, reliable and works well as part of a close-knit team
