About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Shift Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at Sydney Freezers Distribution and Storage (SFD). As a key point of contact during our night operations, you will provide critical support to both our customers and internal teams by managing after-hours enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring the accurate flow of information to the day shift.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where strong communication, attention to detail and customer focus are essential to delivering the exceptional service our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately process customer orders received via after-hours phone messages and email
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry of customer orders and conversion into invoices
- Provide order confirmation to customers via email
- Communicate customer-specific requirements and matrix changes to the day CSR team
- Respond to after-hours emails and calls in a timely, professional manner
- Escalate urgent or unresolved matters to the Operations Manager when needed
- Maintain confidentiality of customer data and company information
- Contribute to the cleanliness, safety and orderliness of the workplace
- Support the wider night operations team and assist with general administrative tasks

About You




You are a proactive and professional communicator with a passion for customer service and a high level of attention to detail. You thrive in a night shift environment, are confident working independently, and understand the importance of delivering accurate and timely support to internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous experience in customer service or a call centre environment (desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Confidence in handling phone calls and responding to customer queries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities
- A team-oriented mindset with a “can-do” attitude
- Robust interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse backgrounds
