About the Role

We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our IT team in Gladesville. You will keep our internal network, servers and end-user devices reliable and secure. You will also support the network needs of our security and building automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points and servers
- Monitor network performance and availability, and optimise systems to ensure efficient operation
- Diagnose and resolve network faults, and document the diagnosis and resolution
- Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions in line with security policy
- Maintain IT asset inventory and network documentation
- Monitor for and respond to security incidents, and apply security updates and patches
- Provide help desk support and training to staff on network and hardware issues




- Support the network requirements of client-facing systems, such as IP-based access control, CCTV and BMS integrations
- Assist with infrastructure projects, upgrades and system rollouts

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience administering and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, routing, switching and wireless networks
- Working knowledge of network security, firewalls and user access management
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Windows environment and Microsoft 365 experience
- Robust troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues
