About the business

Boss Hair Clinic is a retail business providing customers with a range of products and personalised product consultations. We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our retail store and provide a high standard of customer service and retail support.

About the role

The Retail Manager will be responsible for coordinating the daily operation of the retail store, managing customer relationships, providing product consultations, monitoring stock, coordinating product orders and deliveries, managing daily sales administration and supporting the retail team.

The successful applicant will work closely with company headquarters and other retail staff to ensure consistent product knowledge, procedures and customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day operation of the retail store and ensure the store operates efficiently.

* Provide customers with personalised consultations, product information and recommendations.

* Manage customer relationships and provide a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process.

* Promote and advertise the products and services offered by the business.

* Process customer sales and manage daily retail transactions accurately.

* Manage customer payment plans and associated administration.

* Complete daily sales reconciliation and closing procedures and ensure sales and payment records are accurate.

* Monitor stock levels and identify products requiring replenishment.





* Order products and liaise with company headquarters regarding product availability and orders.

* Coordinate product deliveries and ensure incoming stock is received and organised appropriately.

* Maintain accurate information relating to stock, sales, customer orders and daily store operations.

* Maintain product displays and ensure the retail environment is clean, organised and professionally presented.

* Open and close the retail premises in accordance with established business procedures.

* Liaise with company headquarters regarding products, procedures, promotions, operational information and business requirements.

* Communicate and coordinate with other retail staff to ensure consistent information, procedures and customer service standards.

* Participate in staff training and provide training and guidance to other retail staff where required.

* Share product knowledge and operational information with team members.

* Maintain current knowledge of the products offered by the business and relevant company procedures.

* Identify day-to-day operational issues and communicate with management or headquarters to resolve them.

* Ensure store procedures, customer service standards and workplace requirements are followed.

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will have:

* Previous experience working in a retail environment,



preferably in a retail management or senior retail position.

* Demonstrated experience providing customer consultations and personalised product recommendations.

* Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

* Experience managing customer relationships and sales enquiries.

* Experience processing retail sales and maintaining accurate sales records.

* Experience monitoring stock levels and coordinating product orders and deliveries.

* Experience with retail administration, including daily sales reconciliation and payment-plan administration.

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and take responsibility for day-to-day retail operations.

* Ability to communicate effectively with company headquarters, suppliers and other retail staff.

* Ability to train and share product and operational knowledge with team members.

* Good product knowledge and the ability to learn and communicate information about current products and procedures.

* Ability to maintain a clean, organised and professional retail environment.

* Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple retail responsibilities simultaneously.
