Lumi Dental is a brand-new premium dental clinic at Melrose Park Sydney. We're independently owned, and designed to give patients an experience that actually feels good and not just clinical. The Dental Assistants are a key part of it.

We're looking for a Part Time candidate to join our team with scope to go Full Time as we grow. We are also looking for casuals as well

Starting date will be late June

What the role looks like day to day:

- Chairside assistance across general, cosmetic, implant and aligner/braces cases
- Surgery setup and breakdown. Done properly and efficiently
- Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation to the highest standard
- Digital workflows: CBCT, Trios intraoral scanning, digital impressions, DSLR photography (we'll train you). We will soon also introduce 3D printing
- Supporting patient communication and experience throughout their visit and after any procedures
- Essential phone and front desk support when the clinical day allows
- Email processing during the day between patients
- Follow up calls between patients
- End of day processing
- Clinic opening, cleaning and shutdown procedures to maintain cleanliness

Lumi Dental will be open Monday to Saturdays primarily, with occasional Sundays. We are also open late night Thursdays

This role is 2 weekdays a week with 2 Saturdays a month availabilty. Please note your preferences in your applilcation

What we're preferably looking for to fit into our culture:





- Certificate III-IV in Dental Assisting and a current First Aid and CPR certificate. Multiple years of experience can also substitute
- Experience is preferred but we care more about how you work than how long you've been doing it.
- If you are current, we are still happy to listen and take on board applicants with the right learning attitude
- We'd love to hear from you if you've assisted across a range of procedures
- You're precise and take pride in clinical standards
- Extremely high levels and standards of infection control
- You communicate well with the dentist, with patients, with the team
- You're interested in digital dentistry and want to keep learning
- You're punctual and ensure the patient experience is of upmost priority
- You are looking to grow your skillset within the realm of dental practice through technologies and patient communication
- You enjoy learning and sharing with others through teaching others
- Orthodontic and surgery experience is a bonus but not required

What we are offering

Hourly rate $33 to $39 per hour depending on experience.
Monthly checkins with owner to ensure you are heard
