About the Role
As a Rostering Team Leader, you will be responsible for management of the Malaysian rostering team, coordinating workforce rosters, managing staffing requirements, and supporting day-to-day workforce operations. Working closely with operational teams and employees to coordinate rosters and staffing arrangements to ensure participants receive reliable, high-quality support.
With growth into the aged care sector, this role offers the opportunity to develop alongside the organisation and contribute to new workforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain employee rosters across multiple services and locations.
- Manage planned and unplanned roster changes, including leave coverage and shift replacements.
- Respond to short-notice staffing requirements and roster disruptions.
- Monitor workforce availability, qualifications, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records across rostering and workforce management systems.
- Support payroll and timesheet verification processes.
- Liaise with employees and operational teams regarding staffing needs and roster amendments.
- Assist with workforce planning initiatives and operational reporting.
- Identify and escalate workforce risks and service delivery concerns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and rostering process enhancements.
About You
You are an organised and solutions-focused professional with strong rostering and workforce coordination experience. You can confidently manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and remain calm under pressure when responding to workforce challenges.
To be successful, you will have:
- Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination or administration.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working with rostering systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- An understanding of, or willingness to learn, NDIS service delivery requirements and workforce practices.
