Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative – Corporate Services now has the following vacancy:
Quality, Compliance and Engagement Manager
Full-time, 38 hours a week
T his is an Aboriginal Designated Position, classified under 'special measures' of Section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. Only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are eligible to apply.
About the Role
The purpose of the position is to manage quality, compliance and engagement operations across Rumbalara, to ensure funded contracts and quality service standards are completed and continuously improved.
This will include leading and/or supporting three transparent pillars:
- Compliance and Governance - keeping the organisation safe.
- Innovation and Improvement - helps the organisation to grow and improve.
- Community Engagement and Support - delivers community-facing programs and relationship management including annual events.
This position will report to the Deputy CEO.
About You
To be successful for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- You are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
- Degree in Business Management or a similar field would be highly regarded.
- Experience in working in an Aboriginal organisation and/ or an understanding of Aboriginal culture and history.
- Five (5) years plus of proven success in a similar position.
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple tasks and projects at once.
- A team focused approach and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and other software and platforms including LogiqcQMS.
Demonstrated experience in any (or all) of the following: (a) Compliance and Governance. (b) Innovation and Continuous Improvement. (c) Community Engagement and Support.
