About the Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining our high standards across every dish that leaves the pass. The role requires consistency, attention to detail, and a true passion for produce-driven cooking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to our established standards
- Participate in creating menus with flair and innovation, using seasonal produce and stock on hand
- Ensuring guest satisfaction through consistent quality and attention to detail
- Monitoring stock levels, preservation, rotation, and ordering to minimise wastage




- Assisting and training kitchen staff on preparation, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Aiding in the selection and training of recent kitchen staff
- Managing kitchen operations and maintaining a positive, team-focused environment
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are met at all times by all kitchen staff

About You

You’ll bring strong technical skills, creativity, and a calm, consistent approach to the kitchen.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Holds a Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management (preferred)
- Has at least 2 years of experience as a chef in a busy kitchen
- Works well under pressure and thrives in a team environment
- Has a genuine passion for quality produce and well-executed food
- Experience with meat is preferred but not essiential

Salary

Range from $75,000 - $80,000 per annum

(Salary commensurate with experience)
