Garden Maintenance Worker – Busselton

Part-Time | 15 Hours per week | Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 5 hours per day.

Belong at Home is looking for a reliable, skilled Garden Maintenance Worker to join our team in Busselton and provide gardening and property maintenance services to older people living independently in their own homes.

This is more than just mowing lawns and maintaining gardens. Your work helps our clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, while taking pride in having a well-maintained outdoor space.

This is a permanent part-time position working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 5 hours per day (15 hours per week/ 30 hours per fortnight)

Your duties will include:

- Lawn mowing and edging, pruning
- Whipper snipping
- General outdoor property maintenance
- Operating, cleaning, and maintaining gardening equipment and tools to ensure safe and effective use
- Identifying and reporting any equipment issues or maintenance requirements
- Ensuring work areas are left clean, tidy, and secure for clients

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, or property maintenance
- Experience operating and maintaining gardening equipment, including mowers, whipper snippers, and other outdoor power tools.
- A commitment to safe work practices and taking care of equipment and resources.




- A strong understanding of equipment care, including completing routine checks, cleaning, safe operation, and reporting any faults or maintenance requirements.
- The ability to follow organisational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure quality service delivery and compliance requirements are met.
- A reliable vehicle with a tow ball
- A current National Police Clearance
- A current First Aid Certificate
- An up-to-date influenza vaccination (in accordance with aged care requirements)
- A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to support members of your local community
