Primary objective
Coordinate the preparation of legal agreements and support the contractual arrangements required to provide a high quality, safe and
cost-effective management of NT Health leased assets.
Context statement
The position requires a self-starter,



with good communication and problem-solving skills to work with key stakeholders on leasing
requirements. The employee will be a key contributor working in a small skilled team, with a customer focused and process
improvement mindset.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide a high level of administrative support to the Infrastructure and Facilities team including reports and briefings.
2. Coordinate facilities-related services for leased facilities with external service providers and agencies including Northern Territory

Property Management, Solicitor for the Northern Territory and Land Tenure Unit.
3. Work with business units to coordinate legal agreements for leased and owned assets with Non-Government Organizations.
4. Develop and maintain a strong customer relationship with internal and external service providers through timely liaison, problem

resolution and customer service.
5. Record keeping, data collection and maintenance of registers to inform workforce planning continuous improvement.
6. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to

ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.




Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated ability to interpret, understand and apply legislation, policy and procedures.
2. Well-developed organisational skills with a proven ability to work in an environment of continuous change with attributes of flexibility

and adaptability.
3. Well-developed oral and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a range of internal and external

stakeholders.
4. Advance Excel skills, experience interpreting datasets and preparing reports.
5. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to achieve timely outcomes while maintaining high standards of accuracy

and attention to detail.
Desirable
1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or current study towards such qualifications.
2. Knowledge of whole of Government policies and procedures. Knowledge of the structure of Government and Government processes

including the preparation of briefings and reports.
