Animal Emergency Service (AES) Canberra
At AES Canberra, part of the Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) network, you’ll work at the forefront of emergency medicine, delivering life-saving care when it matters most.

The Role
This role is ideal for a highly skilled ECC vet looking for greater flexibility, autonomy, and a wide clinical scope.
- Work collaboratively alongside an experienced and highly skilled ECC nursing and support team
- Treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases ranging from urgent to critical care
- Access advanced equipment including digital radiography, Esaote ultrasonography, a full IDEXX suite, blood gas analysers, ventilators,
incubators with oxygen supply and advanced ECC monitoring equipment
About You
In addition to your ECC skills, you’re capable, calm and collaborative. You’ll bring:
- BVSc (or equivalent) with Australian registration
- Strong emergency and critical care skills OR GP with transferrable skills
- Confidence in clinical decision-making
- MANZCVS (ECC or similar) desirable, not essential
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
