Plama Projects Pty Ltd is an engineering firm that specializes in the fields of structural, civil, hydraulic, stormwater and glass, and façade design. Our services range from low rise to high rise residential and commercial developments, newbuilt, and renovations and repairs.

We are looking for a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our design team. This position would suit qualified and experience draftsperson with proven ability to conceive, plan and interact with engineers, architects and builders and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities :

- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, layouts and construction documentation for projects.
- Prepare civil drawings for foundations, footings, concrete slabs, equipment pads, and structural supports.
- Prepare earthworks, grading and site preparation drawings where required.
- Assist with drainage and stormwater layouts associated with projects.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, architectural plans, survey information, technical specifications and site measurements.
- Prepare plans, sections elevations and construction details using AutoCAD, REVIT, Tekla and/ or similar drafting software.
- Convert engineering sketches, concepts, calculations and specifications into accurate technical drawings.




- Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with company processes and standard.

About You

- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.

- Minimum 5 Years' experience in drafting.

- Experience in coordination of several disciplines including structural and civil works.

- Ability to read and implement results from Structural analysis FEA software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Spacegass,..) is an advantage.

- Proficiency in using CAD software including AutoCAD, know how to use Revit is advantageous). Good knowledge in 3 D modelling and visualisation.

- Advanced knowledge in construction sequence and methodology, material characteristics and application.

- Robust interest in unity and integrity across multi-disciplines including structural engineering, civil engineering, facade engineering, marine engineering, hydraulic engineering.

- Have a ability to complete work within allocated timeframes.

- Read and be able to understand technical details, standard requirements, technical guidelines in both Vietnamese and English.

- Vietnamese speaking skills are preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
