Corporate Lighting Services Pty Ltd is a small family home business and for the past 19 years has been big on customer service undertaking ongoing and adhoc lighting maintenance and minor electrical services to the commercial and corporate sectors in the Brisbane CBD & surrounding areas.

We are seeking a qualified Electrician on a permanent part-time basis ideally with additional knowledge in lighting requirements and with an immediate start or on short notice.

Key responsibilities

· Conduct building lighting walk through audits

· Perform minor general lamp/fixture lighting repairs/replacements/installations

· Perform LED lighting repairs/retrofits/upgrades/installations

· Conduct emergency lighting testing and replacement works

· Conduct minor electrical repairs/replacements/installations

· Assist management with special requirements for quotations

Attributes

· Have good electrical fault-finding knowledge and ability

· Be well presented and confident to liaise with our clients

· Be able to work independently

· Good knowledge of relevant electrical standards

· Flexible for before or later business hour start times to avoid any power disruption to client if required

· Willing to accept very occasional after-hours Saturday work for special tasks and/or projects (additional penalty rates apply)





· Having own battery operated tools preferred

· Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work at varying heights

· Having worked at Brisbane CBD sites considered an advantage

Qualifications:

· Hold a current Queensland Electrical licence

· Manual drivers licence

· High Risk / EWP (under 11metres) certificates

· White/Blue Construction Card

· Current CPR/LVR Certificate (preferred)

· Experience with Clevertonic, Dali or BMS lighting systems highly regarded

Benefits

· $45.00-$55.00 per hour + super

· $2000 sign on bonus after successful 3 month probation

· 4-day week: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday

· Regular early finish times occur based on completed tasks (no pay deduction)

· 4 weeks annual leave with up to 2 weeks of those guaranteed and required over Christmas /Current Year period
