About us
Able Management is a Sydney-based home services business. We work with aged care and disability providers to help older people live safely and independently at home. We provide gardening, cleaning, repairs, safety modifications and general upkeep for their clients.

The role
You'll visit clients' homes across Sydney to keep their lawns, gardens and outdoor areas tidy and safe. Our office handles referrals, quotes and scheduling. You call the client before each visit, do the job properly, and send photos and notes when it's done.

What you'll be doing

- Lawn mowing, edging and whipper snipping
- Weeding, pruning, hedge trimming and garden bed upkeep
- Mulching, planting and seasonal garden tidy-ups
- Removing green waste from the property
- Pressure washing paths, driveways and outdoor areas
- Keeping paths,



steps and entrances clear of overgrowth, leaves and moss
- Spotting outdoor hazards (uneven paths, trip risks, overhanging branches, slippery surfaces) and reporting them to the office
- Assessing larger garden jobs so we can quote accurately
- Taking before and after photos and writing brief job notes on your phone

What you'll need

- Your own equipment, including a mower, whipper snipper, blower and hedge trimmer
- A reliable vehicle (ute or van with a trailer preferred) and a current NSW driver licence
- A way to dispose of green waste
- A current National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- For contractors: an ABN and public liability insurance of at least $5 million
- Patience, respect and explicit communication with older clients, including people living with dementia

Nice to have

- At least 1 year's experience in gardening, lawn care or landscaping
- A Certificate III in Horticulture or Landscape Construction
- Chemical handling accreditation (e.g. ChemCert) for weed spraying
- Experience working in aged care, NDIS or home care settings
