Our small, family-run operation is looking for a food outlet supervisor for our new business in Newstead, QLD. We have flexible hours to suit the right candidate, and can offer anything from eight hours a week up to full time hours, with the possibility for a full-time or casual contract.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will work independently once trained, and be able to effectively supervise a small team. You will be required to develop a thorough understanding of Italian food and wine culture. Once trained, you will:
- Prepare for services by polishing crockery, glasses, and utensils
- Advise customers on menu items and take orders
- Supervise other staff
- Process payments
- Ensure customer satisfaction and manage complaints
RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Experience in restaurant service roles will be highly regarded, as will experience in supervision or management.
Knowledge of Italian food and wine is not necessary to be successful in the role, but it will be highly regarded, and will help you to succeed in the role.
REQUIREMENTS
You will be reliable, dependable, well-presented, and honest. The selected candidate will:
- Hold a QLD RSA
- Have 1+ year/s of experience in customer service
- Have exceptional communication skills
Pay: $55,172.00 – $60,000.00 per year
