About the role

Yan Melbourne Pty Ltd, an Asian Smokehouse in South Yarra VIC 3141, is seeking a talented allrounder Waiter who can also do bar works to join our dynamic team. This is a casual role that offers the opportunity to work in a customer-focused workplace and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

What you'll be doing

- Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests
- Taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals and drinks, and ensuring timely service
- Assisting with bar operations, including mixing cocktails, pouring wines, and maintaining a well-stocked and organised bar
- Maintaining a clean and organised dining area, including setting and clearing tables
- Answering customer inquiries and addressing any concerns or requests
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service
- Following all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our customers

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Waiter and/or Bartender,



preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
- Robust attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Good knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in the hospitality industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences

Pay: $31.00 – $33.00 per hour
