Lead from the front. Build with a team that values quality, efficiency and getting the job done right. We are seeking an experienced Formwork Supervisor to join a growing structural construction business delivering high-quality commercial projects across Sydney.
This is an opportunity for a highly experienced Formworker who has progressed into supervision and wants to take ownership of a team, maintain high standards and play an important role in the successful delivery of structural works.
We are looking for someone with 20+ years' experience in formwork, with candidates bringing 25–30 years of industry experience particularly encouraged to apply.
About the role
As Formwork Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day performance of a formwork team on commercial structural projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising and coordinating formwork crews on site
- Managing daily productivity, quality and workflow
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Maintaining a strong focus on site safety and quality
- Planning upcoming works and ensuring the team is prepared
- Supporting and mentoring tradespeople and apprentices
- Identifying potential issues early and proactively finding solutions
- Working closely with site management and other trades to keep the project moving
- Maintaining a positive, productive and accountable team environment
- Ensuring work is delivered efficiently with minimal rework or delays
About you
You will be an experienced Formworker / Leading Hand / Formwork Supervisor with a strong background in commercial construction.
Ideally,
you will have:
- 20+ years' formwork experience
- Significant experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 builders
- Strong commercial construction experience
- Experience across structural concrete and formwork
- Apartment construction experience will also be highly regarded
- Proven ability to lead and manage a formwork crew
- Excellent understanding of construction processes, sequencing and site requirements
- A strong safety-first mindset
- The ability to maintain high standards of quality and productivity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine team-player mentality
- The confidence and experience to take ownership of your area of the project
We're particularly interested in candidates who have spent many years on the tools and understand formwork from the ground up, but who now have the leadership experience to get the best out of a team.

- $135,000 + Super (Salary negotiable for the right level of experience)
