We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a team in Silverwater. This is a hands-on role responsible for financial reporting, month-end processes, accounts receivable, cash flow and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage month-end/year-end journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
- Manage accounts receivable, credit control, collections and aged debtors.
- Monitor cash flow, forecasting and working capital.
- Manage credit card reconciliations and fixed asset registers.
- Prepare weekly/monthly management reports and financial analysis.
- Assist with tax compliance, statutory reporting and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes,
controls and reporting.
About You
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.
- Proven Senior Accountant or similar experience.
- Strong knowledge of month-end, reconciliations, AR and financial reporting.
- Experience with cash flow, fixed assets and lease accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems.
- Robust analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
