Your Impact

As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart Noosaville, you'll be dedicated to giving children the best possible start to their learning journey.

With support from our Centre Leadership Team, Teachers and Educators, you'll gain practical experience while working towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

You'll achieve this by:

✨ Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members

✨ Complying with the National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies, procedures and requirements

✨ Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families

✨ Actively contributing to educational programs within the room and wider centre

✨ Supporting a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement

✨ Contributing to a professional, supportive and positive team culture

About Goodstart Noosaville

Located within Noosa Bushlands Shopping Village, close to Noosaville State School, with ample parking and a bus stop nearby.

Supporting children from six weeks to school age, with learning environments from Nursery through to Kindergarten.

Three outdoor play areas featuring sandpits, undercover verandahs, bike paths, a climbing fort, garden beds and plenty of shade.





Play-based programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, with learning tailored to children's individual interests, needs and strengths.

You'll learn alongside experienced, qualified educators who continue to invest in their own professional development.

Strong connections with Noosaville and Tewantin State Schools, supporting children as they prepare for their transition to school.

The centre operates 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

At Goodstart Noosaville, you'll have the opportunity to learn from an experienced team while developing the practical skills and knowledge you need to build your own career in early childhood education.

Traineeship eligibility

To be eligible for a Goodstart traineeship, you cannot have completed a Certificate or Diploma qualification outside of secondary school within the last seven years.

Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate in an area other than childcare may still be eligible.

You'll also need:

✔ Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

✔ Permanent right to work in Australia

✔ Strong communication skills

✔ Good time management and organisational skills

✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

✔ Enthusiasm and a positive attitude

✔ Flexible availability

✔ Genuine interest in early childhood education

✔ Current QLD Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one

✔ Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform

✔ Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) and Whooping Cough (Pertussis), or willingness to receive these
